At Communal Group our people, places and community are all connected.
From inception, at our first gathering place in 1947, we have a history of evolving with the community by creating vibrant places that bring people together and provide experiences that connect and support them, places where people are proud to belong.

Over time we have grown from one place to many, providing a variety of places and experiences that enrich our neighbourhoods and support our community. We want everyone – our employees, members, customers, students, suppliers and community partners to know and take pride in something greater, as we continue to evolve and create vibrant places for people to gather for connection, celebration, learning and wellness.
Gathered under our new masthead – Communal Group, we continue to evolve into the modern era and create even greater experiences at all of our places, a stronger sense of belonging and come together to have a greater connection to our broader community.

Communal Group fosters careers for people across many communities. Our people are the face and the lifeblood of all our venues, not just the one they stand in. We come from a long history of developing career pathways for our people, embellished by our own registered training organisation -Communal Academy.
Together we create, support, and develop teams of quality professionals and provide opportunities across the urban sprawl of all our places, where our people all come together around what matters.
Our Community
At Communal we have proud connections to community through our relationships and initiatives that support our veterans, and in areas such as health & welfare, education and sport for people everywhere.
Our communities are the heart of our purpose, to create places for people to gather for what matters, and outside our meeting places to be connected with our greater community, in ways that help make a difference.
Our initiatives have a genuine purpose to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our society, to create connections that provide support at a grass root level and more broadly across our community.
