CMNL was proud to be the principal partner in seed funding for the RPA iSAIL (Integrated Support After Infant Loss) Clinic. The first clinic in NSW to provide an integrated support system for families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.

CHPRSL became the RPA Women and Babies’ principal partner in establishing the first clinic in NSW to provide an integrated support system for families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss – iSAIL Clinic. The Club has provided seed funding to establish the highly specialised perinatal loss clinic.

iSAIL (Integrated Support After Infant Loss) Clinic opened its doors in 2014 to mothers and families that have experienced pregnancy and infant loss are now receiving integrated support through the iSAIL Clinic at Gloucester House in Camperdown. CMNL (is proud to have contributed seed funding to the iSAIL Clinic.

The clinic provides much-needed and appreciated comfort and support to those who need it most, through the provision of services that meet vital needs – answering questions, performing observations, supporting the bereavement process and providing counsel regarding future pregnancies.

Our Club has many members who live in the Inner West, who may need to call upon the professional and compassionate care that will is offered at the clinic to those when they need it most.

The club’s support was publicly recognised when the iSAIL Clinic was selected
as a finalist in the Health & Wellbeing category of the NSW Clubs and Community Awards.

“Infant loss is a devastating life event, around 80 families per year in the Sydney Local Health District experience stillbirth or neonatal death with a lack of community support.

The Sydney Stillbirth Study used data from bereaved families and demonstrated the need for family hospital follow up including being seen for longer, in a space not near pregnant women and the need for specialised bereavement support.

Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL’s donation opened the multidisciplinary clinic to support families. The iSAIL clinic offers integrated service and care, meaning families avoid returning to hospital on multiple occasions. The clinic offers a full team for coordinated appointments.

Community organisations and services are available, including SIDSandKIDS, Stillbirth Foundation Australia, Art Therapy workshop and in-hospital support.”
