The Marrickville Kings and Marrickville All Stars Netball Club are both supported by the Marrickville RSL Club.
CMNL welcomed Marrickville RSL Club Members into the family in 2007, and we continue to support local sport for the community and explore what the right time and place looks like to re-establish a Club for the community. We are proud to provide ongoing support and financial assistance to ensure that those members and their families who have come to reply upom these sporting groups for many years has the assurance of continuity and ongoing support.
Marrickville RSL KINGS & Queens RLFC are currently competing in the South Sydney Juniors Rugby league district competition
“In 2016 five of us guys who grew up playing for the club decided to come back and build it up again, at this time we had one team.
In 2018 were acknowledged for the fastest growing club in NSW in Rugby League. 2019 and 2021 we topped the Souths district for our growth and we were again in the top 5 in NSW for club growth and participation.
2022 we had 15 teams, 4 teams being female which we are very proud of. We look to keep continuing our growth in 2023 and the future.” said Gerry Zapantis, President.
Marrickville All Stars Netball Club Inc
is one of the fastest growing clubs in the eastern suburbs of NSW with approximately 41 junior and senior teams.
Founded in its current form in 1996, it is currently one of the fastest growing clubs in the eastern suburbs of NSW with approximately 43 junior and senior teams. The Club provides all registered players with subsidised registration fees, umpires, discounted membership due to the Club’s sponsor CMNL (incorporating Marrickville RSL Club) and many other incentives during the year including awards for junior players throughout the season, presentation events for both senior and junior players including gifts for their support and participation with the club each year.
