The event was held in support of their work, and for the Camperdown Commons community to enjoy a day together.
We thank Uncle Brendan from the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Council for opening our Winter Solstice festival with the Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
The family-friendly festivities included Workshops, Farm tours, Film screening of Regenerating Australia, Market Stalls and Lawn Games.
Even the sun showed up for our stalls, bands and saganaki prawns. Over 500 people joined us to eat, drink, learn and play games. Delicious food, great company, plenty of fun for the whole family – a lovely day had by all and it’ll be bigger, better and brighter next year!
